Optimization suite
Centrobill MAX
More approvals, fewer declines, smarter retries.
Most declines aren't final. A processor was the wrong fit for that issuer, a stored card number went stale, a card expired, or a retry went out at the wrong moment. Centrobill MAX is the optimization suite that sits on top of Centrobill's acquiring and billing infrastructure and works on each of those problems automatically, with four modules that decide what happens to every payment.
Smart Routing
Give every transaction the best odds of approval
Smart Routing analyzes transaction data across all of your acquiring banks, rates each one by approval performance for each category of transaction, and sends every payment to the processor most likely to approve it. It weighs card type, geography, issuer behavior and success history for each deal, so routing follows what is actually approving now, not a rule someone set months ago.
- Analyzes transaction data across all your banks
- Rates each bank by approval performance per category
- Routes every transaction to the best bank automatically

Network Tokenization
Keep stored cards working after the bank reissues them
A saved card number is fragile. When an issuer reissues a card after a loss, a breach or a new expiry date, the number on file stops working and the next recurring charge declines. Network Tokenization replaces the stored card number with a token issued by the card network itself. When the underlying card changes, the network updates the token, so the credential on file stays valid and recurring charges keep going through. Because the raw card number is no longer what you store and send, there is also less sensitive card data moving through your payment flow.
- Replaces stored card numbers with card network tokens
- Tokens update when the underlying card is reissued
- Less raw card data in your payment flow

Card Updater
Stop expired cards from becoming failed renewals
Subscription revenue depends on cards that keep working. Customers let cards expire without telling you, and the next renewal declines. Card Updater analyzes card expiration patterns, predicts which saved cards are about to expire, and alerts you so you can ask the cardholder to update their details before the renewal runs. Fewer avoidable declines, less accidental churn, and members who never notice there was a problem.
- Analyzes card expiration patterns
- Predicts renewals on cards that are about to expire
- Notifies you so you can reach the cardholder first

Rebill Optimizer
Retry at the moment recovery is most likely
A declined rebill isn't a lost customer, but retrying it blindly is expensive. Every extra attempt can add a decline fee and raise a flag with your acquiring bank. Rebill Optimizer sets the timing, frequency and number of retry attempts for each failed recurring payment, and can redirect it to an alternative bank, so more renewals succeed without the retry patterns that damage your standing with issuers.
- Picks the optimal time to retry each failed payment
- Limits retry frequency and number of attempts
- Redirects failed rebills to alternative banks

What MAX does on real traffic
Three of the biggest subscription brands in their category turned on Centrobill MAX. Here is what changed, in their numbers, not ours.
MAX runs on the same infrastructure as everything else
Centrobill MAX works across the acquiring relationships, MID management and recurring billing engine that make up the Centrobill platform. It is not a separate gateway. It is the layer that decides how each payment moves through the infrastructure you already have.
- Centrobill MAXDecides how each payment moves
- MID management
- Recurring billing engine
- Acquiring relationships
